What if you could control your car’s functions from your wrist? Wouldn’t it be cool? Stop dreaming, because Jaguar Land Rover just announced the smartwatch that keeps you connected with your car.

The smartwatch also allows you activate the climate control to maintain the desired temperature before getting back into the car. This is possible by remotely starting the engine, while the temperature is already set to the desired value. But that’s not all: thanks to this device, you can remotely lock and unlock the doors, a helpful function when you want to allow someone to take things from the car, while you’re not near.

However, the new device isn’t all about controlling and setting, but it also helps you check different car characteristics. For instance, check the car’s fuel level and range. Or, a more useful one, monitor the car’s position at any moment. This device was shown for the first time at the Wearable Technology Show 2016, where it was connected with the new Jaguar F-Pace crossover. However, the crossover also supports the Apple Watch devices, being the first Jaguar that features the Activity Key functions.
