Those that know what RC cars are about, they know that they transcend the limits of being just a toy. They have sparked quite an evolved hobby, complete with racing events and huge gatherings.
And quite an unique kind of RC car has showen up on Kickstarter to gather funds for the project to see the day of light.
For those unfamiliar with the Kickstarter, it is a platform that allows small or underfunded companies find the money they need directly from the buyers. They usually ask for a minimum amount to be pledged and in return those that help in reaching the set goal, the buyers receive a special variant of the product or an advanced copy of it.
The B project is an interesting one, even for the RC community. It is a quad copter / car hybrid that promises to be a lot of fun and open the way to a wide new range of RC events. The RC machine sports rear wheel drive that might not be suited for very rough terrain, but there is where the copter part comes in, allowing you to take off and avoid said terrain altogether.
The target the maker has set in the Kickstarter program is 131.500 USD, and they are very close to reaching it. And for every pledge of minimum 486 USD, you can get the kit for the B as soon as this year’s end.
