You can’t say you don’t like the Italians. You may say so in public but we all know that in your private time you secretly love the most charismatic sports car makers out there.
Of this rare breed, the Italians at Lamborghini are the most lovable and its their announcements that make our hearts flutter almost every time.

The latest of which says that the limited edition Lamborghini Reventon, and even the more recent Sesto Elemento, have been nothing but game starters.
Future plans for Lamborghini, according to the company’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, are to introduce even more hardcore special cars that are to be produced in limited editions.
I didn’t really realize that up until now that any of Lamborghini’s models were made in that sort of opulent a set of numbers that it was otherwise.

After all, even the most successful model from a commercial perspective, the Lamborghini Gallardo, was generally made in bulks of less than 300 units throughout its various special editions and models.
That may be true enough but the Lamborghini Reventon and the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento are on a different plane.
The Murcielago based Reventon was only built in 20 units whereas the new Gallardo related Sesto Elemento is only going to be made in half that number of units.

Future special “almost unique” editions of the Lamborghini products are bound to be made in that small numbers so we can only look forward to them.
