The Japanese folks at Lexus unveiled the IS 25 Aniversario, a special edition model, at the Madrid Auto Show. As its name suggests, they celebrate 25 years with this model but they also plan to build only 25 vehicles for the Spanish market.
At the exterior buyers will get revised spoilers, roof and hood, 19-inch F SPORT wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires and a quad-pipe exhaust system. Some of the parts are made of carbon fiber, therefore, we talk serious tweaks here.
Inside, buyers will get new leather upholstery, an individually numbered plaque, F SPORT badges and a TRD start button.
Power is offered by the same powerplants, therefore, you can get either the potent V6 engine or the more frugal but more expensive hybrid version.
If you already own a Lexus IS, the company got your back. They plan to offer an upgrade kit at a price of around €10,000.
