The 2017 Shanghai Motor Show is opening its gates in a couple of weeks, with Asian carmakers particularly already preparing their new models for an official unveiling. Other important manufacturers from Europe or the US are already setting the scene for their Asian-based new automobiles.
It is also the case of Japanese manufacturer Lexus, which has previewed its all-new 2017 NX just ahead the auto event. We are looking here at the facelifted variant of the current model.
The Lexus NX was first revealed on the market around three years ago and it was high-time for the company to have it released with some significant updates.
Visually, the model will look fresh with the new and smaller headlights with full-LED technology, also seen on other high-end models like the new RX or GS.
Besides the new lights, the 2017 Lexus NX will also come with slightly revised front and rear bumper bars, new taillights and wheels.
As for the cabin, the company would not want to reveal the new changes, but from various new reports, the interior would come with “enhancements that add convenience and functionality” which would make it extremely attractive and high-end to its customers.
We might be looking here at the all-new on-board infotainment system with Remote touch control setup, new graphics and the latest apps. As for the engine details, the facelifted NX might keep the same 2.0-liter turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine also seen on the ongoing model.
Full details will emerge at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show next month. Meanwhile, take a look at the car`s teaser image which highlights its front end with the exquisite right headlight.
