The days when the pickup truck was just a workhorse are long gone, and today’s car market clearly illustrates this.
Now, even the big, bulky, vehicles have a high number of features that improve the comfort of the occupants.
The American pickup trucks especially have adopted this trend, and Ram might even be considering a high luxury model. While avoiding a direct confirmation of such a model, Reid Bigland, Ram’s CEO, did say that a new model might be in the making, with an estimated price of around 44.000 USD, and maybe even over that.
When asked if it was going to be a luxury model, Bigland didn’t deny it, but instead provided a very evasive answer, mentioning that if Ram were to build such a car, they would make sure that the features weren’t frivolous. So until more details on this new Ram model surface, this is all we have to go on.
