The Maserati Alfieri Concept supercar is ending up in our news again, this time through a report launched by the guys from Autocar, stating that the model would start production somewhere in 2016.
The Maserati Alfieri might first be launched wearing a coupe version, while the convertible will shortly follow. Prices for the model will start from 75,000 euros.
The report from Autocar is also backed by the Maserati UK marketing director James Cowad, who stated that the Maserati Alfieri will actually bring together everything valuable that the carmaker has achieved so far.
In terms of performance, the Maserati Alfieri will carry on the company`s legacy, as it will be also powerful, sporting first a 3.0-liter V6 turbo unit and developing 410 horsepower, while the top of the line will come with a higher 450 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque.
The Maserati Alfieri will compete against top predators like the Mercedes-AMG GT, the Porsche 911 or the Jaguar F-Type. More details will be announced later on.
