Maserati’s GranTurismo S is just about as much car as anybody would need but they still decided to go ahead and do the faster, harder MC Stradale version.
After that, with enthusiasts and hardcore trackday fans pleased, things got a little weird for Maserati’s GranTurismo as the tuners started to take notice.
It was the Superior Black Edition that came along first and now we see the much, much more obvious edition the guys at Novitec Tridente out and about.
While they didn’t mess around with the glorious looking body too much, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale was painted in a very unpleasant yellow finish.
They did fit a lowered suspension to make for some added stance and they decided to go with a new set of black 22 inch alloys and Pirelli P Zero tires.
The well known 4.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine was slightly altered to include a supercharger and some intercooling so it now pushes out an astonishing 646 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Novitec’s modification kit makes the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale 0-62 time go as low as 3.9 seconds and the top speed figure as high as 190 miles per hour.
The tuner also throws in some interior options but you can have quite enough fun with the way it is and since it’s $32.000 for the aforementioned kit you may be interested in keeping costs decent.
