The Mazda MX-5 in its latest iteration is an extremely sexy looking car, with a lot of styling bits that remind us of the iconic MX-5 Miata unveiled more than 20 years ago.

And sometimes tuners worldwide try to look for the perfect ride to fit their special programs, and BBR is the one that found the Mazda MX-5 as the perfect candidate for their own kit.

We are dealing here with the tuner`s special Super 200 kit, costing 2,795 pounds and coming with some impressive new mechanics that would increase the car`s power.

The Super 200 power kit comes with some important modifications, such as high-performance replacement billet steel intake, exhaust camshafts with custom valve springs and retainers, bespoke 4 into 1 tuned length stainless steel exhaust manifold, cold air intake system, and StarChip ECU software package with revised fuel, ignition and cam timing calibration.

All of these impressive upgrades literally powers up the car`s 2.0-liter engine with a decent 205 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque, but if you want more torque, then you can also choose the second power stage, meaning 214 horsepower and 183 lb.ft of torque. With the latter upgrade, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 4.6 seconds.

There are some other mechanics that make the Mazda MX-5 so powerful and fast, like Koni adjustable dampers, BBR lowering springs, BBR / Eibach anti-roll bar kit, as well as the BBR / Willwood brake upgrade with lightweight calipers and performance pads.
