The Mazda MX-5 unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, is ending up in our news again, this time in some renderings, showcasing the model in the Shooting Brake style.
The renderings with the Mazda MX-5 Shooting Brake are signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin and one out there must admit that the hot ride looks gorgeous in this body style.
The new generation Mazda MX-5 showcased in Paris in a world premiere is 105 mm shorter, 10 mm wider and 20 mm lower than the first generation, the model also taking 100 kg off the overall weight.
Thus, the new Mazda MX-5 comes with a perfect weight distribution, the model being tweaked with front ventilated and rear solid discs, electric power assisted rack and pinion steering and rear multi-link setup or 16-inch alloys.
Under the hood, the Mazda MX-5 comes with two power choices, meaning a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G unit on the Old Continent, while in the United States, a 2.0-liter unit will be fitted, both trims coming with a RWD.
