I am crazy about whenever some renderings with different hot shot models are popping up on the web, especially if these particular renderings are signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin. It is also the case of the Mercedes-AMG GT, which has received a Roadster body style this time.
We all know that the Mercedes-AMG GT is the follower of the SLS AMG, this one being smaller and with less power under the hood. But that didn’t stop the designer to render the model in a roadster body.
But even in this shape, I have to admit that the Mercedes-AMG GT is looking gorgeous with the retractable hardtop. Also, mind that the Roadster is also set to appear somewhere in the near future, so the new model added to the lineup might take on some of the design cues used in these renderings.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster is expected to share the same engines from the based AMG GT, meaning the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 unit, with 462 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, while the AMG GT S Roadster might receive higher power, like the 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.
When it will arrive, the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster will compete the Jaguar F-Type Roadster or the Porsche 911 and will come with a higher price than the present AMG GT.
