Whenever I think about the brand Mercedes-Benz, I either picture a luxury saloon or a massive truck, and I tend to believe most others have similar pictures of the manufacturer.
Still, it seems that one of the more popular models of the German car maker is the B-Class, which has recently sold its millionth unit.
The two main markets that made this landmark possible are the older German market and the newer Chinese one. So why the B-Class? If we ask the car maker they would retort (and did) “the B-Class is the perfect combination of sporty design, impressive driving dynamics and incomparable driving comfort. That’s what makes it so popular with our customers”.
The model was introduced back in 2005, and with the millionth mark reached, it will be interesting to see how long it will continue to sell and how will the brand manage the model, keeping it up to the times. After all, there are still plenty of family men out there who might be in need of just this particular car.
