The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe has been recently upgraded by the guys from IMSA tuning division, the upgrade package mainly including improved performance under the hood.
The 5.5-liter twin turbo V8 unit under the hood, has now been fitted with some new performance components, like new sports air filters, improved air flow rate, modified x-cross central muffler specially customized for the exhaust system, optimized turbocharged outlet or intercooler radiator.
The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe is now capable of producing an improved 720 horsepower and a whopping 1,080 Nm of torque, from a base 585 horses and 900 Nm of torque.
The sports car is thus capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, at a top speed, electronically limited, of 250 km/h.
Apart from these performance modifications, the guys from IMSA have also installed the 21-inch forged lightweight alloys, wrapped in 255/35 and 295/39 tires. No news yet on any changes at the exterior or inside the cabin.
