Mercedes takes the wraps off the C63 AMG Edition 507, a special edition based on the new AMG-tuned C63 model. Scheduled to debut at Geneva, the new edition comes with an improved output and few styling tweaks.
To be more specific, the stock 6.3-liter V8 engine is capable to deliver 507 horsepower and 610Nm of torque which makes the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in 4,2 seconds with a top speed limited at 280 km/h.
In order to squeeze the additional power from the V8 unit, Mercedes revised the pistons, rods and fitted an improved crankshaft.
At the exterior, the C63 AMG Edition 507 comes with 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with 235/35R19 (front) and 255/30R19 (rear) tires, new spoiler lip, LED daytime running lights and an aluminum hood.
A high-performance braking system with 360mm composite discs with six-piston calipers is also available on the new model. More information on the new Mercedes C63 AMG Edition 507 will be available this March at Geneva.
