Germans from VATH developed a tuning kit for Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG. The model now develops 680 hp and 800 Nm and is equipped with 22-inch alloy wheels.
VATH tuners have created a package of modifications for the AMG version of Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The standard version of this model develops 500 hp and 700 Nm from a 5.5-liter supercharged V8 engine with a supercharger. Those from VATH managed to get 680 hp and 800 Nm, which raises the top speed of the G 55 AMG to 265 km/h.
The suspension of the model will receive new dampers, and the ground clearance will be reduced by 35 mm. Besides the new suspension, G 55 AMG received a sports brake system with 390 millimeters discs in front and 22 inch alloy wheels, equipped with 295/35 R22 tires created by Japanese from Yokohama.
The ADV ST Yokohama tires have a difficult task ahead, that of putting on the road no less than 800 Nm and 680 hp in conditions in which the model has a total mass of 2550 kg in the standard version.
