Mercedes released a new special edition dedicated to the Japanese market, namely the G550 Night Edition. With only 100 units to be made, the German SUV stands out thanks to a new Obsidian Black exterior finish, new alloy wheels and revised fenders.
Power is provided by the well-known 5.5-liter V8 powerplant which is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the G550 Night Edition benefits from revised seats with red upholstery, new leather inserts, revised dashboard and inserts.
The new special edition will be showcased at the Mercedes Benz Connection in Roppongi, starting April 22. As mentioned above, it will be sold only in Japan in a limited run of 100 vehicles.
The German company prices the new G550 Night Edition at 13,900,000 yen which is equal to $141,660 at the current exchange rates.
