The Germans from Mercedes decided to reveal all the important information on the two AMG models of the new G-Class SUV.

As you probably know, Mercedes offers a V8-powered G63 AMG model but also a more powerful C65 AMG which will be produced in a limited series.

To begin with, the new G63 AMG packs a 5.5-liter V8 engine developing 536 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. It comes together with a seven-speed automatic transmission and features three differentials and an all-wheel drive system.

The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in only 5,4 seconds while the top speed is limited at 210 km/h. The range-topping Mercedes C65 AMG is motivated by a 6.0-liter V12 unit capable to produce 603 horses and 1,000Nm of torque.

With such resources, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 5,3 seconds with the top speed limited at 230 km/h.

If the Mercedes G63 AMG returns an average fuel consumption of 13,8 liters/100km, the top-of-the-range G65 AMG is rated at 17 liters/100km. Pricing in Germany starts from €137,504 for the G63 AMG and €264,180 for the G65 AMG.
