Even if the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT was recently unveiled, the German based carmaker is reportedly working on a successor, the future model being even hotter than the present one.
There isn’t an official announcement made on that matter, but according to a report launched by Autocar, which has interviewed the AMG boss Tobias Moers, the company is preparing a future AMG GT version.

As Moers stated, the new and hotter AMG GT will be the GT3 street-legal model, which will directly compete the Porsche 911 GT3.

The new AMG GT will come with a lighter chassis, being offered with a powerful engine which would develop around 550 horsepower.

The future top of the line AMG GT would be more powerful, thanks to the weight loss and might be officially presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The current Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is packing a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo unit, developing 462 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, in the entry level.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S is coming with a higher 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, with prices to be confirmed in the near future.
