The Mercedes G 500 4×4² concept was certainly an interesting appearance few days ago, when the German carmaker released the first details and images. If the technical details didn’t impress you, at least the name is something to get your attention.
This time, the company offered more details and photos on the G 500 4×4² concept, a prototype that is close to a production variant, according to Mercedes’ statements.
At the exterior, it features massive 22-inch alloy wheels with off-road tires, bulky fenders, AMG front bumper, a roof-mounted LED light bar and a rugged overall appearance. In order to tackle the difficult roads, it packs a potent 4.0-liter V8 engine producing no less than 422 horsepower.
Further performance number were not released yet but they will certainly come as the production model gets closer. At the interior, the Mercedes G 500 4×4² concept provides all the desired comfort with high quality materials, designo leather seats, new trim and more.
A tweaked suspension system that uses two spring struts per wheel is just one of the special features that the German off-roader benefits from. At this point, it is only a matter of time before we will see the final version of this concept model.
