Mercedes officially reveals today the high-performance A45 AMG, the sportier alternative of the new A-Class. As you probably guess, the new model will be introduced at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show this March.
Under the bonnet sits a 2.0-liter engine offering 360 horsepower and 450Nm of torque.
Thanks to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the German model is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,6 seconds before topping at 250 km/h.
Even Mercedes has not confirmed these figures yet, the new A45 AMG is expected to return estimated fuel economy figures of 7 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions of 165 g/km.
In terms of styling, the new model gets all the goodies from the AMG division. The aesthetic improvements include revised lip spoilers, side skirts, alloy wheels and side mirrors.
Even pricing information is not available yet, the new Mercedes A45 AMG is expected to hit the dealerships shortly after its debut, in April to be more specific.
