Shortly after unveiled the redesigned E63 AMG, the Germans at Mercedes pulled the wraps off the new CLS 63 AMG, a model which receives a more powerful S-Model as well.
The base 2014 CLS 63 AMG gets a 5.5-liter V8 producing 550 horses and 720Nm of torque while the S-Model is offering 577hp and 800Nm of torque.

According to Mercedes, the new CLS 63 AMG sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,2 seconds while the sportier S-Model does it in 3,7 seconds. Standard features include the AMG Ride Control suspension, a new brake system with 402mm carbon ceramic brakes and a rear differential lock.

“With its superlative power and torque ratings and the new performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive, the CLS 63 AMG is without parallel in its Coupe and Shooting Brake variants,” says Mercedes.

Both Coupe and Shooting Brake versions of the new CLS 63 AMG will be available starting this April.
