The MINI British based carmaker couldn’t wait until the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, next week and has already revealed the first details with the MINI 5-Door in the United States, after its launch on the market, next January.
And they are quite interesting, I may add.
First off, let`s talk a bit the model`s size, as it is rather the same with the European model, despite some rumors stating the opposite. The model is sitting on a 2,567 mm wheelbase, being 3,982 – 4,005 mm long, 1,727 mm wide and 1,425 mm high.
Second, the model will come available with four-non metallic and nine metallic colors, while inside, the MINI 5-door will sport a lot of interesting tweak, like the Head-Up Display, the MINI Connected infotainment system and a few more.
The MINI 5-door is also doing well under the hood, where the model will receive the 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged Cooper S unit, developing 134 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque.
A higher 2.0-liter four-cylinder will be available as well, developing 189 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.
