Mopar prepared yet another special edition for the new Chrysler 300, a model which will be seen in world premiere at Chicago. To be more precise, the 2012 Chicago Auto Show debuts on February 10 and will host several premieres of Mopar. The new Mopar ’12 300 will be built in a limited edition of 500 units with a starting price of $49,700 including the $825 destination charge.
“The Mopar ’12 300 will be built in Brampton, Ontario. Customers who purchase one of these 500 limited-edition Chrysler 300 models will receive a personalized owner kit in a customized Mopar ’12 300 box,” says Mopar.
Under the bonnet sits a retuned 5.7-liter V8 unit offering 363 horsepower, the extra horses coming from a new gearing with a 3.91:1 ratio which allows the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to be possible in less than 5 seconds.
The exterior appearance of the American model is enhanced by a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, body stripes, new black grille and tinted headlights. Inside, customers will benefit from Katzkin leather seats, carbon fiber trim, an Alpine audio system and also a new steering wheel.
I love the blacked out grill and lights. I really love the blue lined wheels and the line on the body.
