The Germans at Audi brought the more potent version of the A3 Sportback at the Geneva Motor Show. We talk about the new Audi S3 Sportback, a model which is motivated by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine capable to produce 300 horsepower and 380Nm of torque.
With such resources and a total mass of 1,445 kilograms, the new S3 Sportback sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,5 seconds hitting a top speed of 250 km/h.
These figures are available for a six-speed manual gearbox while opting for an automatic S Tronic transmission will result in a 5-second acceleration.
The sporty German model benefits from the quattro all-wheel drive system, a lowered ground clearance (25mm), new 18-inch alloy wheels and fuel economy figures of 33,6mpg US or 7 liters/100km.
“The high-performance four-cylinder engine responds immediately to the driver’s wishes and boasts a sportily sonorous sound,” adds Audi.
