The South Koreans from Hyundai revealed the wagon version of the i30, a model based on its smaller five-door brother.
Under the bonnet we will find a total of six engines starting with an entry-level 1.4-liter diesel with 89hp and continuing to a 1.6-liter offered in two power variants: 108hp and 126hp.
On the other hand, the company offers three petrol units, a 1.4-liter MPI with 99hp and a 1.6-liter MPI/GDI engine with 118hp and 133hp.
“The stylish wagon shares engines and running gear with the New Generation i30 five-door, and has a longer body to create a useful increase in trunk space without compromising the model’s dynamic styling,” says the car maker.
Due to its increased dimensions, the new i30 wagon offers a boot capacity of 528 liters which can be increased to 1,642 liters if you fold down the rear seats.
The exterior appearance is improved thanks to new front and rear bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED daytime running lights. Inside, Hyundai offers a navigation system, heated seats, dual-zone climate control and a six-speaker audio system.
