Mitsubishi presented the new Mirage compact car at the New York Auto Show. According to the company, the new Mirage will hit the dealerships with a standard 1.2-liter engine producing 74 horsepower and 100Nm of torque.
Being linked to a five-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT, it offers fuel economy figures of 40mpg US (combined).
Standard features include power windows, automatic climate control, piano black trim, a new steering wheel and a four-speaker audio system. The better-equipped ES trim brings leather steering wheel and seats, silver trim, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity.
At the exterior, the new Mitsubishi Mirage benefits from new front and rear bumpers, side skirts and new wheels.
“An especially welcome interior design feature is the 60/40 split folding rear seat that allows for plentiful and easily accessed interior cargo volume,” says Mitsubishi.
Prices and availability details on the new Mirage will be released soon.
