The new Peugeot RCZ R has been officially revealed today by the French carmaker prior its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new RCZ R is powered by a 1.6-liter THP unit producing 270 horsepower and 330Nm of torque.
This makes the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in 6 seconds while the top speed is limited at 250 km/h.
At the exterior, the model comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, revised front and rear bumpers, front grille and optical blocks. Inside, buyers will find bucket seats, a revised steering wheel, Nappa and leather upholstery, aluminum knob and new trim.
Exterior finishes are limited to Nera Black, Mercury Grey, Opal White and Moroccan Red. The 1.6-liter engine is capable to return fuel economy figures of 44,8mpg UK or 6,3 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 145 g/km.
The company released no pricing details but said that the new RCZ R will go on sale starting next year. Stay tuned for more details as the Frankfurt Motor Show is approaching.
