Audi seemed to have profited the CES show to “show off” with its new TT interior, as the new generation of TT will receive a full new-enhanced Virtual Cockpit central display with the latest Multi Media Interface (MMI).
As you can see in the pictures, the Virtual Display has a new reconfiguration of the instrument binnacle, featuring a 12.3-inch TFT screen.
The Virtual Display comes with two operable modes: standard mode, with a usual-sized tachometer and speedometer; and the Infotainment mode, with gauges that allows you to control the navigation map, or the audio system.
The size of the center console was significantly reduced by the Audi`s engineers, without reducing the function buttons for the driver.
The Multi Media Interface is also a killer for the new TT interior, coming with a reshaped interface; that means there are only two buttons, instead of the previous four in the system, with a touchpad for dial that functions like the usual touchpads from the present top-line Audi vehicles.
All you have to do is write down a number on the touchpad, and the system will recognize it and decode it for whatever function you are trying to access.
