After an early unveil, the Nissan Juke R ended up finally being fully unveiled in all its super sporty crossover madness and it wasn’t in Los Angeles.
Though it would make some pretty impressive news for the Motor Show over in LA, Nissan decided to give us a full story from… nowhere.
It doesn’t really matter, as the Nissan Juke R could be unveiled on the dark side of the moon and it would still have people watch it.
Speaking of which, the Nissan Juke R would probably look better if it were unveiled in that particular place because if I’m honest, despite its incredible appeal, is still seriously unattractive.
If you can get past the un-wielding appearance, the Nissan Juke R is really wonderful, it offers up a the same engine, gearbox, suspension, braking and four wheel drive system as the wonderful GT-R.
This means that the power comes from a twin turbocharged 3.8 liter V6 engine with 480 horsepower on tap, all of which are handled by the smartest systems available on a road car.
Nissan also slightly redesigned the Juke R’s aerodynamic presence to make for some decent high speed stability and a little more aggressive of an image.
Insider the Nissan Juke R owners of the Nissan GT-R will feel more at home than the crossovers owners and everything is painted in black.
No word on a production version, not even a limited edition version have come from Nissan so far but hey, we’ve seen crazier stuff happen.
