Last year, at the Tokyo Motor Show in November, Nissan presented itself with a very peculiar looking vehicle that promised a lot.
Called the BladeGlider, this new concept and its unusual shape was the result of engineering rather than styling.
With a narrow front and a wider rear, Nissan presented the BladeGlider as a very fast vehicle, especially around the corners. The seating configuration is 1 in front and 2 in the back, with weight being distributed 30:70 percent, respectively.
Now, it seems that Nissan is keen on actually taking this concept to production phase. Many would question this move, even if we are to set aside the peculiar styling of the car. There is also the fact that not long after the Tokyo Motor Show, DeltaWing filed a lawsuit against the car maker for using their product’s shape. We’ll see how this goes, but it seems that Nissan is not that worried, even if the lawsuit will definitely delay the release of the vehicle.
