Opel introduces a new range-topping variant of the Zafira Tourer in Europe, namely the BiTurbo model.
It is powered by a 2.0-liter CDTI engine producing 195 horsepower and 400Nm of torque which makes it the fastest diesel-powered seven-seater in its segment.
With such resources, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 8,9 seconds while the top speed reaches 218 km/h. Even with these great performance figures, the Zafira Tourer BiTurbo manages to obtain fuel economy figures of 5,6 liters/100km (42mpg US).
“The sophisticated sequential BiTurbo technology in the Zafira provides a high power output, an instantaneous throttle response and extraordinary pulling power from a wide torque plateau,” adds Opel.
Standard features of the new model include a new Opel Eye front camera, AFL+ adaptive lighting system and the FlexRide chassis system.
Priced from €35,405, the new Opel Zafira Tourer BiTurbo is currently available for order but first units will reach their customers in April.
