Whenever I get to see an exclusive Porsche model getting ready to find a new owner, I immediately start digging for information that would make the car worth the money, especially if we are talking big numbers.

From where I stand, besides the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Carrera GT is perhaps the second supercar that is worth spending your money on. I mean, it`s limited edition, comes with exquisite body wrap and design and is extremely fast and powerful.

This lad seen here is indeed a special 2005 edition, one of the 1,270 units ever built between 2004 and 2007, the supercar coming in pristine condition and just 152 miles on board. Not to mention the exotic Basalt Black exterior which perfectly complements the cabin`s Dark Grey trim and exclusive leather upholstery.

Its exclusive personality is also felt underneath the skin, the supercar being fitted with a massive 5.7-liter V10 naturally-aspirated engine, capable of developing 612 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque. The engine is hooked to a six-speed manual transmission which sends the power to lightweight magnesium alloy wheels.

Even if you think that the power is not that impressive, think over again, as the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 3.5 seconds, at a topping of 330 km/h.

And the question is: would you spend between $1.1 M to $1.4 M to add it to your private Porsche collection, and that if you had one? Tell us what you think about the price, is it too spicy, is the supercar worth more?
