At the beginning of June, we finally got the chance to lay our eyes on the first online photos with PGO Cevennes Speedster. And we really loved what we’ve seen on Shanghai Motor Show earlier in 2013.
But as if the Speeder wasn’t enough, we now get to enjoy PGO Cevennes, its predecessor. Do not let yourself fooled by the strange features taken from both Daihatsu Copen and Porsche 356!
If there is little novelty in terms of outside appearance, the French manufacturer invested however quite a lot in PGO Cevennes’ inner mechanisms!
What say you, for example, of the 181 HP and 177 Nm torque that this baby delivers? After all, it got a new 1.6 liter V4 engine, direct-injected and turbocharged!
By the way, how do you find the 5.9 liters fuel consumption on highway and 10.9 liters consumption inside the city? Too much or just fine for this brand new PGO Cevennes unit?
At 1.32 m height, 3.7 m length and 1.735 m width, PGO Cevennes weights a little under 1.000 kg – 998 kg to be more precise. Therefore, if you are into compact and cozy sport cars, this one may tempt you.
