Set to complete the Panamera Sport Turismo lineup this November, Porsche Australia has announced the introduction of the S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, the high-end model coming with a price tag of $466,400.
The model is in almost every aspect a massive car, coming with a “4+1” seating configuration and increased space inside for both passengers and their luggage.
Visually, the model borrows the same design language as the rest of the Panamera lineup, except for the back, which is now enhanced with a sporty yet hatch-like layout. Still as the rear, one major characteristic that improves the car`s downforce for the rear axle up to 50 kg, is the adding of an adaptive rear spoiler.
Besides the exquisite luxury details and comfort inside, the all-new 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo is also standing extremely well when it comes to advanced technology. The German car manufacturer has introduced the all-new fully digital Porsche Advanced Cockpit, or the Porsche`s InnoDrive adaptive cruise control.
Other features inside refer to independently adjustable outboard seats, as well as the “plus-one” middle seat; hence the “4+1” seating configuration mentioned above. However, in case you want increased comfort, you can also opt for a two-seat configuration on the back.
The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo is also the peak of technology in the engine department too, the flagship coming with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, developing no less than 404 kW, while an advanced electric motor adds another 100 kW. Overall, we are dealing here with 500 kW and impressive 850 Nm of torque.
The performance figure is also impressive – just 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, at a top speed of 310 km/h. The fuel consumption is amazing as well – 3.0L per each 100 km; that also thanks to a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. With the high-performance battery pack, the new Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo can also run on pure electric for around 50 km.
