The Germans at Porsche have been making the 911 for so long and improving it so consistently every single time that we always thought it couldn’t be done once again.

Yet somehow, both Porsche and plenty of independent tuning companies have shown that it is clearly possible. This time however, we’re experiencing something totally weird.

A considerably older Porsche 911 version has been given a new lease on life by the tuners at Prior Design who’ve been making it over into a newer one.

The base for what we see here, though it may not look it, is actually the Porsche 911’s 996 version and a set of germanically approved, TUV Certificate acquiring aero parts.

Unsurprisingly, the guys at Prior Design did quite a lot of work on this and they don’t really want to see you spoil everything they’ve achieved by mixing their parts with others.

All of the bits you see here require the compatibility of others to work but, more importantly, to be fitted.

The kit is made up of a new front bumper, new front lip, new front fenders, new sideskirts and a new rear bumper.

All of these are either fitted by Prior Design at their shop or can be delivered with whatever material you may need to do it yourself.

Whichever way you go, the end result is that you get a Porsche 911 996 that looks like a 997 model but is even more aerodynamic.
