Oops, they did it again! There’s a new bad boy in town, and it’s called Audi RS Q3 performance.

For those of us who considered that RS Q3 can’t be improved, Audi launches…well, an improved version. What they mainly did was to increase the main cooler radiator’s size and to optimize the fuel pump. They achieved a total of 367hp and a peak torque of 465Nm between 1,625 and 5,550rpm. These values give the RS Q3 performance an exceptional drivability. Paired with the tuned version of the seven-speed S tronic gearbox, the new model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 4.4 seconds, and doesn’t stop until it reaches 270 km/h.

In order to achieve supreme acceleration values in straight line and lots of grip in high-speed cornering, the Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system works in tandem with a hydraulic electronically controlled multi-plate clutch. This configuration allows the automatic power distribution between axles and it’s linked to the Electronic Stabilization Control (ESC) for precise power control at each wheel. Not a complicated electronic control fan? No problem: you can deactivate the handling controller for the ultimate sport feeling.

Fitted with a tuned suspension, the top-of-the-range model is lowered by 20mm compared to the standard Q3. Yet, Audi brings in equation the RS sport suspension plus: it’s a damper-controlled suspension with three selectable programs: Comfort, Auto and Dynamic. On the styling side, RS Q3 performance has matt titanium-look body elements combined with the special Ascari blue metallic paint finish.

A new, exclusive set of 20 inch wheels in a five twin-spoke V design is painted in titanium to match the body line. They leave uncovered the red RS logoed-calipers which can be also painted in black without extra cost. Inside, a unique combination of gray dial instruments and red needles enhances the sporty looks. The especially-designed seats offer a better support and look astonishing in the balck-blue combination. RS Q3 performance will be unveiled at Geneva Motor Show in March 2016 and the orders can be placed immediately after its launch. With a base price of 61,000 euro, it can be delivered starting with 2nd quarter of 2016.
