A lot of supersports car companies would want to have their top-notch hot rods running free on the roads of North-America, but few really manage to accomplish this dream.
It is the case of the British sports car Radical stating that its RXC is just a practical car to be driven on the US roads, as now it is legal to be bought and tested.
The car-racing prototype has passed all the tests required to obtain the road registration in California, and now the company is ready to set the sales plans for the RXC and RXC Turbo.
As the name suggests, we are dealing with monstrous super cars on the roads. I can`t imagine myself driving this model on the roads under extreme weather conditions. Don’t expect the car to handle smoothly.
We are talking about a massive 3.7-liter Ford supplied V6 engine for the standard RXC, developing 380 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque.
The RXC Turbo will receive the Ford 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, sprouting 454 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged version sprints from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.0 seconds, being limited at 185 mph.
As for the price, don’t imagine it would come cheap. We might be looking at $171,280 for the entry level.
