The Land Rover has officially announced the availability of the fresh Range Rover Sport SVR on the market, starting this October, with the first deliveries to start at the beginning of 2015.
The new Range Rover Sport SVR is already available for orders starting this October, with the prices to start from $110,475, no destination fees.
The Range Rover Sport SVR has been specially manufactured by JLR`s Special Operations Division, aimed to compete against the BMW X5 M, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S as well as the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG.
Under the hood, the Range Rover Sport SVR is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 unit, developing a total of 550 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque.
This should be enough for the powerful SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, at a top speed, electronically limited at 261 km/h.
More than that, the Range Rover Sport SVR is considered to be the fastest SUV model on track at Nurburgring, setting a lap record of 8 minutes and 14 seconds.
