With the fast development of the SIV segment, a lot of carmakers are now trying to grab take their share of the pie, particularly supercar makers like Lamborghini, known to develop and create the exquisite and incredibly powerful URUS SUV.

Set to arrive worldwide at the end of the year, the all-new SUV from the Italian supercar maker is set to become the new kid on the block, with sales to overcome the newly arrived Huracan Performante.

This means that the Urus will not be aerodynamically advanced but also fast, meaning that it will be placed somewhere between the Performante and the Aventador supercars. Imagine that – an SUV with exquisite performance that would challenge the almighty Aventador.

According to the latest report from Automotive News, the brand-new Lamborghini Urus is likely to receive the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as already previewed, but will gain some extra horses – 650 horsepower to be exact, with impressive performance figures as well. We should expect a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h below 3.5 seconds, getting thus closer to the Performante`s 2.9 seconds.

Once arriving on the market, the all-new Lamborghini Urus SUV will compete against the likes of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk or Bentley Bentayga, and will definitely have a strong point when it comes to becoming one of the fastest SUVs in the world.

More than that, the Lamborghini Urus is going to be an exclusive offer, being manufactured in a limited-run of just 100 units for the first year. And if things go according as planned, we should be able to see another 3,500 units launched in 2019. Stay tuned for more upcoming details!
