A few days ago, the media world was abuzz with news of Michael Schumacher awaking from the prolonged coma he has been for the better part of the year.
And while this is, indeed, good news, it is wise to hold off on celebration for the time being.
As we understand it, Schumacher has indeed made huge progress, but this translates into him going in and out of consciousness. He is not yet here to stay, and his situation is still rather bad. As for communication, he has yet to speak, and only basic communication has been established.
Right now, F1 legend is in the Lausanne, Switzerland hospital, and according to them, the outcome is still uncertain. One thing is for sure, though. If he is getting better, it will definitely not happen over night. He is in the hospital for the “long haul” and all we can do is hope.
