After we saw few leaked images earlier today, Seat decides to officially present the new Leon SC, a more potent version of the standard hatchback.
SC stands for Sports Coupe, main features including a revised appearance and modified dimensions. The new model is 4,23 meters long and rides a shorter wheelbase of 2,6 meters.
Under the bonnet we will find several engines with outputs ranging from 105hp for the base 1.2-liter unit to 184hp for the 2.0-liter model.
A retuned suspension with MacPherson struts and torsion beam is also available on the new Seat Leon SC. For now, the Spanish company released no pricing or availability details but claims that a more potent ST estate variant will debut next year.
“The story of the new Leon is very closely tied to the sheer fun of driving – without the driver having to sacrifice a high level of everyday usability,” adds the carmaker.
