Why own an over 500 hp car if you don’t know how to enjoy it? Ford offers to the Shelby GT350 Mustang owners a possibility to learn how to drive properly their beasts.

Driving a supercar doesn’t necessarily makes you a better driver. Ford is aware of that and proposes to the owners of the GT350 a set of lessons meant to transform the drivers into racers. If you own a 2015 or a 2016 model, than you’re eligible to participate at the program. Ford invites you in Tooele, Utah, at the Motorsports Campus, to learn how to drive your GT350 or GT350R to the limit. The instructors of the Ford Performance Racing School developed a program called GT350 Track Attack especially for the top-of-the-range Mustang. It is meant to help the drivers feel better the car’s limit-behavior, to handle it right while braking, cornering and shifting. Starting from the fact that GT350’s limits can only be reached on the track, the lessons will support the drivers to get the most out of their cars and improve their own driving skills while having lots of fun.

If you choose to follow the program, you’ll start with an evening reception, followed by a day of training. It will include both theoretical and on-track driving lessons under the professional supervision of the Ford Performance Racing School instructors.

The whole program is free of charge, but you have to pay your trip to Toole and your lodging. You can also bring your friends to watch you and, even more important, there’s no need to bring your car with you. For a cost, there are available extra activities, like a second track day, a driving-lesson behind the race-prepared Boss 302 or Mustang GT and other driving or non-driving programs.
