Not all tuning proposals headed for the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show are based on big luxury sedans or enormous high speed GT cars.
Some of them, like the one here, are based on the almost humble Smart car, a very small car with even lesser of a styling presence.
Brabus together with street fashion brand WeSC teamed up to work their magic on the Mercedes built two seater city slicker and they’ve turned into a shoe.
Apparently the target buyer of the newly tuned Brabus Smart is not meant to be a stand out car, but one that’s tailored to your personal needs.
The basis of this very expensive tailored shoe is a Smart ForTwo Convertible and it uses a turbocharged (but small) petrol engine which develops a “whopping” 105 horsepower.
A slightly different looking exterior from one of the Smart stable is achieved courtesy of a matte and high-gloss golden finish.
A new, more shapely body kit is well accentuated by the paint finish, as well as the smarter new black six double-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside there’s a considerable amount of changes as well and, according to WeSC who made it, and they all work together towards continuing that same tailor made feel.
Since the interior is so special, it seems there’s no need for added gadgets as the equipment list stops at air conditioning and leather covered seats and steering wheel.
