It seems that Smart decided to let us get a closer look at the fourjoy concept before its official debut at IAA. At the exterior, the British prototype benefits from LED daytime running lights, an aluminum tridion cell and revised headlamps.
Under the hood, as you might expect, sits an electric motor producing 74 horsepower and is backed up by a 17,6 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The battery pack needs only one hour to recharge from a wallbox or a special charging station. Inside, you will find a unique rear bench, special front seats, new dashboard and instrument panel alongside Plexiglas inserts and much more.
The Smart fourjoy concept measures 3494mm long, 1978mm wide and gets several design cues from previous Forstarts prototype.
More details and photos with the new futuristic concept from Smart will be available in the coming days.
