If you live in Las Vegas and love custom-built cars, one-off concepts and futuristic prototypes, then the 2016 SEMA Show is the right place to be, starting the 1st of November. You will also get to enjoy two hot MX-5s models, specially built for the auto show.

We are looking here at two special models based on the Speedster Evolution and an RF hardtop with the Kuro body styling. Each one represents a different approach of the MX-5.

As we can depict from the photos, both models look smashing with the new exterior colours, with contrasting white and grey, which make them extremely appealing and sexy at the same time.

The Mazda MX-5 Speedster Evolution takes its styling cues from the ND Speedster unveiled last year, this particular model weighing less with around 45 kg for an overall of 900 kg. The car`s main highlights are the lack of the windscreen, which also saves weight, adding as well black exterior which looks smashing in contrast with the black alloy wheels.

On the other hand, the Mazda MX-5 RF Kuro packs a pure white body wrap, the model featuring steel rooftop and windscreen, along with the 17-inch RAYS alloy wheels and some fine mechanics, like adjustable suspension and new lowering springs, which lower the car`s ride height for improved driving dynamics.

We are not sure what powertrain will equip both models, but we will find full details concerning performance and price tags next week, at the 2016 SEMA show, in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, enjoy the couple of photos we have got with the two models so far!
