Subaru announced the availability of the WRX RS40 model in Australia. Priced from $44,490 AUD, the Japanese sports car will be available in a limited series of 300 units and comes to celebrate 40 years of existence for the company in Australia.
Power is provided by the stock 2.5-liter boxer unit producing 265 horsepower and 343Nm of torque.
At the exterior, you will find 17-inch alloy wheels, a special blue finish, new badges, a rear spoiler and a new suspension. Entering the cabin, buyers will benefit from Recaro sport seats, Alcantara trim, a numbered plaque and other minor tweaks.
“The All-Wheel Drive WRX RS40 adds more than $7000 of value-packed features that pay tribute to Subaru’s motorsport heritage,” says the company.
If you are interested in the new model and live in Australia, be sure to check your local dealership as it will arrive in showrooms towards the end of this month.
