Switzer Performance presented an impressive tuning kit for the well-known Nissan GT-R, a model which already comes with a significant amount of power under the hood.
The standard 3.8-liter V6 engine delivers 545 horsepower in stock form which, in the tuner’s opinion, is not quite enough. That’s why Switzer Performance revealed the Ultimate Street Edition GTR, a model which packs the same V6 but comes with a total output of 1,000 horsepower.
With such performance, the 0-100 km/h acceleration is done in about 2 seconds while the top speed is rated at 322 km/h.
The company provides a high performance transmission able to keep the pace with the retuned engine, new suspension system and a set of Switzer Signature alloy wheels.
“We took a small performance garage and turned it into a supercar factory. That’s the simplest way to put it, but we really changed everything about the way the shop operates,” says Switzer Performance.
If you want to benefit from this performance kit, you will have to pay almost $99,000 in addition to the price of the stock Nissan GT-R.
