When it comes to electric cars, not many car makers can rival the products of Tesla, a manufacturer that has been on a steady upward trend for quite some time now.
Still, while their products are top notch, beautifully complemented by equally great services, Tesla models tend to be a bit out of reach for the general populace.
Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, will change that come 2015 and the Detroit Auto Show. He plans to present to the world a brand new model, the dubbed Model E, which will become the car maker’s entry level product. While we have the Model S to serve as reference for craftsmanship and technology, when it comes to styling, the new Model E will be something truly fresh.
The only other bits of information offered on the new sedan are the range, an estimated 320 km, and a price tag lower than $40.000. It seems that Tesla in gearing up to produce a worthy rival for Nissan’s Leaf model.
