Toyota Corolla is a car with a glorious past. It’s got ten generations behind and now, it’s eleventh generation received an interesting facelift. How important is the Corolla for Toyota brand? It is the most popular model in Toyota line, totaling 20% of the Japanese manufacturer sales, being sold in 150 countries.
Certainly the most striking upgrade is its exterior line. In front, the totally-new design emphasizes a new, wider appearance, thanks to the sleek front lights that perfectly complete the radiator mask’s line. It’s a part of Toyota Under Priority and Keen Look design philosophy, which highlights a new, thinner upper grille, LED lights and a redesigned front bumper, with a large grille. It looks more elegant and dynamic than any other Corolla before. Seen from the side, it brings new chromed door handles that look perfect in the new, exquisite design language. More, new 16 or 17 inch wheels are available, with an enhanced sporty-looks. At the rear, the new LED lights and the chromed finishes add a wider vehicle stance.
The exterior color line is the same as before, but now there are also three new colors available: Platinum Bronze, Tokyo Red and Earth Bronze. The safety is at the highest standards, with the Toyota Safety Sense available in all the trim levels. The program, which contains a Pre-Collision System, Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beam and Lane Departure Alert, helps avoid the accidents, based on a laser and a camera mounted on the windshield. Starting this summer, the new model will be available in markets all over the world.
