The all-new Audi A4 Allroad has finally reached the shores of the United States, the model coming available in two versions: the entry-level Premium from $44,950 and the top of the line Prestige, costing $52,350.
As we can depict from the photos, the 2017 Audi A4 Allroad features the carmaker`s latest evolutionary design, with extremely appealing cues and sharp edges. It comes with all-road capabilities, meaning advanced architecture with aluminum composites on the roof rails and enhancing the latest off-road modes.
We are dealing here with the newest “Audi Drive Select” system, featuring the Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, Individual and Off-Road modes. For improved maneuverability, the new Allroad is also closer to the ground, with a ground clearance of 34mm.
Performance wise, the 2017 Audi A4 Allroad is available in the United States with a single engine, in the shape of the 2.0-liter TFSI mill, capable of developing 252 horsepower. The power is sent to the wheels via a high-performance seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is part of the Quattro all-wheel drive system. This system proves to be extremely fuel-efficient, providing a good torque distribution to all wheels as well.
Inside, the cabin also boasts with the new technology available at the latest Audi models as well, meaning the well-known Virtual Cockpit, up-to-date infotainment system, adding the plethora of safety and driver assistance systems.
